Not every bad outcome is malpractice. You likely have a case if a doctor, nurse, or facility failed to meet the standard of care a similarly trained provider would have followed, and that failure caused real harm. We review the medical records and consult with medical experts before we ever tell a client yes.

The experience I had with this law firm, is they work hard on the case.
The Firm always stays in contact with you, either by a simple phone call or even making sure you received the email they had sent out. I would also like to say Tisha is a big help when it comes to communication. It is very hard to put into words…

What a Missed Diagnosis or Nursing Home Injury Really Costs a Tampa Family
Proving medical malpractice is harder than proving an ordinary injury claim, mainly because patients sign consent forms before most procedures and hospitals know how to make an error look like an accepted risk.
Under Florida law, you generally have two years from when you discovered, or should have discovered, the malpractice to file a claim, and never more than four years from the date it happened, except in narrow cases involving fraud or young children (Fla. Stat. § 95.11(5)(c)).
Miss that window and you may never be able to recover no matter how egregious the malpractice or how much harm was caused. What does that mean for a family in Tampa still waiting on test results or a second opinion? It means the clock is already running, whether anyone told you that or not.
