Robotic-Surgery Risks

Robotic surgeries are on the rise. More than 1.7 million were performed on patients between 2007 and 2013. But they are not without risks. Since 2000, robotic surgeries have led to 144 deaths, and on average there are about 550 adverse events per 100,000 robotic procedures.
